A Letter from the Administrator
Debbie Hamilton

It is my privilege to have been asked to lead TTA for the 2009-2010 school year.  I have accepted this position after much prayer and consideration.  I believe God has been preparing me for this responsibility over my 25 years in education.  This ministry has been a part of my life since I attended college at TTU in the seventies. After working at TTA for the past ten years, I have developed a love for the faculty, parents, and students.  This opportunity will allow me to use the educational training I received at TTU and UTC, where I received a master’s degree in administration.

I believe God’s purpose for my life is to take the Academy forward, improving the ministry through higher academic standards and quality athletics, fine arts, and extracurricular activities, while always emphasizing a strong Biblical worldview.

As our city experiences new changes and growth in the future, I believe we are positioned strategically to participate and benefit from these opportunities.  My desire is to prepare our students as God blesses our community.

Of course the spiritual growth of our students is a top priority of our faculty and staff.  I am burdened by societies influence on our children and want our school to be supportive of the Godly principles you teach in your home.

As we prepare for the upcoming school year, I look forward to meeting with you and sharing my vision for Tennessee Temple Academy.  If you would like to schedule an appointment, please call the school office at 423-493-4337.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Debbie Hamilton
