Crusader Club

Attention all parents of students who play athletics at TTA.

This years Crusader Club is gearing up for a great 2006/2007 athletic season. Our varsity boys football, basketball and baseball teams are pre-season favorites for regional and state titles in Division 1-A. Our varsity girl’s volleyball, basketball and softball teams are improving and look to have a real chance at regionals. And our elementary and middle school teams are growing in talent and in numbers.

The Crusader Club this year will be led by Don and Jessica Morris and John and Kelly Giles. Our thanks and appreciation goes to Justin Walls and Brent and Betty Smith for their leadership last year. Our academy has been blessed by the countless hours of sacrifice and financial support that these two families and others like The Larson’s, The Brown’s, The Rector’s, The Johnston’s, The Skogen’s, The Beard’s, The Wadley’s, The Sexton’s and The Smithson’s and many others who have invested their lives in our athletic program over the years. We wish to honor them and our past athletes by taking the torch and continuing the legacy of Temple Athletics.

There will be several important changes that will be made in the Crusader Club for the 2006/2007 athletic season. These changes will help us increase the numbers of parents involved in the Club, organize their responsibilities more effectively and streamline the volunteer process.

New for this year will be an on-line spirit store, an all-sport fundraiser, a volunteer schedule and several other things that will increase school spirit while lessening the stress of our student athlete’s parents.
