 Candace DyerPOSITION: Middle hitter CLASS: Junior HT: 5-5 BORN: 10-29-90 Chattanooga WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TEMPLE?: I didn’t. My parents made me come here against my will in 5th grade. But, looking back, I’m glad they brought me here. I have a video game handicap…..I’m really bad at them. That same night the Lord called me to be a missionary to Africa. I had the wonderful opportunity to visit Togo, West Africa for three weeks this summer. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life, and I cannot wait to return to Africa one day as a full-time missionary. |

When I was 14, God called me into children’s ministry. |

But I didn’t get saved until age 14. I was in my bedroom alone and I knew if I died I wanted to go to heaven. So I got saved on Dec. 4, 2003. |
 Dannah BroadwayPOSITION: Backhitter CLASS: 8th-grader HT: 5-3 BORN: 2-7-94 WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TEMPLE?: I chose Temple because there was an un-Godly atmosphere at my old school and I wasn’t liking it at all. I thought I could get closer to God by attending Temple. TESTIMONY: When I was 8, my Sunday School teacher at Calvary Baptist was teaching about what we need to be good Christians. At the end of the lesson I went up to the teacher and told her I wanted to be a Christian. So right then I was saved. And this past summer, I rededicated my life to God and now I am more on fire for God than I have ever been in my life. |
