In the first inning, Summer came to bat with the bases loaded. She took the second pitch deep for a bases clearing triple. She finished the game with three RBI's, a single and a triple and went 2 for 2.

Lauren pitched the last two innings of the game. The first inning she struck out the first three batters in order. The second and final inning she pitched, she walked the first batter but struck out the next three batters in order.

Impressive player of the game: Lauren Reaves
Lauren came to bat in the third inning with the bases loaded. With the count 1 and 1, she pelted the next pitch deep right center field for an in the park grand slam. Lauren finished the game one for two with a walk and a homerun.

Game Summary:
Lauren Reaves and Abby Rector both walked to lead off the first inning. Tait Smith hit an RBI single driving Lauren Reaves in. Maria Jordan was hit with a pitch loading the bases. Summer Carruth came to the plate and hit a bases clearing triple for three RBI's. Special Strickland worked a free pass to first. Stealing on the first pitch, Special did not stop at second but went all the way around to third leaving the catcher with the ball in hand and speechless. While Breanna Shepherd worked the count to her favor, Special stole home on a pass ball to give us five runs and end our half of the inning.
Abby Rector pitched for Temple in the first inning. The first batter, swinging on the first pitch, hit a single. The next five batters walked, pushing across three runs. A fourth run scored on a wild pitch. The final batter hit an RBI single to score the fifth and final run of the inning.

In the top of the second inning, Breanna Shepherd worked a full count pass to first and was pushed around to third by subsequent walks by Ellen Shiraef and Treasure Strickland were she was tagged out in an attempt to steal home on a pass ball. Lauren Reaves hit the first pitch she saw to the outfield where it was caught by the centerfielder for the second out of the inning. Abby Rector came to bat and drew four straight balls which loaded the bases with Ellen Shiraef now at third and Treasure at second. Ellen was driven in with Tait Smith's RBI single. Abby Rector was tagged out going to third from second on Maria Jordan's hit for the final out of the inning.
Lakeside was unproductive as Lauren Reaves, coming to the mound, struck out the first three batters she faced in a row.

For the third inning, Temple's Summer Carruth earned her way to first with a single. She was followed by Special Strickland who drew four straight balls for a walk. The next batter for Temple struck out for the first out. Ellen Shiraef drew a walk on four straight pitches but was called out for the leaving the base too early for the second out. Treasure Strickland worked a 3-2 count for a walk which loaded the bases for Lauren Reaves. After watching the first two pitches pass for a ball and a strike, Lauren unloaded, driving the ball to the fence for an in the park grand slam. Treasure Strickland failed to touch home plate and an appeal play by Lakeside erased two of the four runs and gave Temple its third out for the inning.
Lakeside's half was unproductive as Lauren struck out three batters in order after walking the first batter.

Offensive Player of the game: Maria Jordan

Maria had the only hit of the game which was a well hit double. It was the first and only double hit by any player yet this season.

Game Summary:
Christian Heritage started off the game hitting a well hit single after the first batter grounded out to the pitcher. Two balls hit through the third baseman\'s legs for errors allowed the runner to score. CH popped out to first and struck out to complete their time at bat leaving two stranded.
In the bottom of the first, Lauren Reaves and Tait Smith both worked the pitcher into a deep count before advancing on subsequent walks. Lauren eventuall scored on a pass ball. The next three batters struck out in order leaving Tait Smith stranded on third base.

Christian Heritage threatened in the second inning. After the first two batters struck out the next two batters reached on hits but were left on base when the next batter for CH fanned.
Temple struggled to be productive as Breanna Shepherd took four straight balls but was caught stealing second base for the first out. The next batter struck out. Ellen Shiraef worked a deep count on the pitcher advancing to first on a well earned walk but was left stranded on second after a steal when the final batter in the line up struck out.

Christian Heritage only sent four batters to the plate in the third inning. The first batter grounded out to second base to Breanna Shepherd. The next batter walked but was left stranded when the next two batters were struck out in order.
Temple came to the plate in the third inning with a vengeance with the game tied one to one. Lauren and Tait took straight walks and both eventually scored on steals and pass balls while Maria Jordan worked the pitcher to a two-two count before hitting the games only hit and the first and only double of the season. She eventually scored on pass balls. Summer Carruth followed her with a well hit ball but grounded out for the first out. Special Strickland followed her at the plate and made a place for herself on the bases by walking. She eventually stole around to third base and stole home as an inattentive catcher casually threw the ball back to the pitcher. The next two batters for Temple struck out ending the inning with Temple-5 and CH-1.

The girls from Dalton struck back late in the inning. The first two batters reached on an error and a walk. The next girl struck out and then a force out at third produced two quick outs with girls on first and second. Then the bottom fell out. With error after error the girls failed to get an easy third out and gave up a game tying four runs making it five to five before the final batter grounded out to first to Maria Jordan.
Temple was through at that point. The top half of the inning proved to be more than they could handle. Four batters went to the plate. One walked but failed to score as the next three batters were struck out in order.

The fifth inning was another error riddled inning for the Crusaders as Christian Heritage took advantage of the shell-shocked team. The first batter struck out. The second batter with an 0-2 count hit a double and eventually scored along with the next walked batter as three of the next four batters reached on infield errors. Temple got out of the inning only giving up two runs.
Temple was struck out in order in the bottom half of the fifth inning ending the game, Temple-5 and CH-7

Lauren Reaves pitched five innings, striking out nine, walking five, and giving up only two earned runs.

Abby Rector started off the second inning walking the first batter who advanced around the bases quickly when the next batter hit a grounder to Lauren at second base who immediately turned and threw to first for the first out. Maria, seeing the walked runner trying for home, threw to home to Tait, who tagged out the runner easily for an inning starting double play.

Game Summary:
Abby Rector started off the game issuing seven walks and a hit that resulted in five runs. It was the first start of her career. In the bottom half, Lauren Reaves walked. Tait and Maria followed her to the plate but each grounded out. Summer, with two outs now, earned a trip by walking. Abby Rector took her turn at bat by generating the only hit of the game driving in Lauren and Summer for the only two runs of the inning. The next batter up for Temple struck out.

In the second inning, The first batter walked and was driven around the bases by the next batter grounding out to second but found herself tagged out easily at home by an observant Maria Jordan and catcher, Tait Smith. Abby only gave up three walks and one hit after that while two batters reached on infield errors. The final out came on a groundout to Lauren Reaves. When it was Temple\'s turn, Breanna Shepherd nursed a full count and produced a walk. The next batter, Treasure Strickland was hit by a pitch pushing Breanna around to second. Ellen Shiraef was next and her patience at the plate earned her a walk moving Breanna to third and Treasure to second. The next batter struck out for the first out of the inning. The top of the order, Lauren came up and was walked, pushing Breanna across the plate for an RBI. With Treasure now at third and Ellen at Second, Tait Smith arrived at the plate with an attitude. She crushed the first pitch in a hard line drive to the short stop who found it too hard to hang on to. Ellen at third, thinking that the ball had been caught, was too far away from home to make it before being forced out for the second out of the inning. The next batter struck out ending the inning.

In the third inning, Ooltewah\'s first two batters walked and were followed by a hit by the third batter. The next batter for Ooltewah grounded out to third base and the girl after her hit a pop fly to Ellen Shiraef in left field. By the time the clock ran out, Ooltewah was ahead by eight runs and no way Temple could catch up because of the five run per inning run limit.

Abby Rector struggled in the first inning of her very first start but came back in the next two innings and proved that hard work pays off. She only gave up three earned runs on three hits.

Game Summary:
In the first inning Lauren Reaves through three strikeouts against Lakeside to retire the side in order. In the bottom half of the inning, Temple took advantage of five walks to end inning up by two.

The second inning was more productive for Lakeside. The first batter struck out. the second batter hit and eventually scored Lakeside's only run of the game on an eventual error. When Temple took their turn at bat in the second inning they took advantage of seven walks and an error to produce five runs.

Lakeside sent four batters to the plate in the third inning. One reached base on an error but the other three all struck out.

One of the Ambitions heaviest hitters pounded the ball deep to right field where Summer, after retrieving the ball from Madison, performed a text book relay to Lauren who turned and fired the ball to Tait for a tag out at home on the runner trying for an infield homerun.

Game Summary:
Lauren started off the inning with a walk followed up with a hit by Tait. Subsequent steals and pass balls allowed both to score with the only two runs of the inning. Maria, Treasure, and Abby each fanned to close out the top half of the inning. In the Ambitions half of the inning, the first batter reached base on a throwing error on the third baseman. The second batter was hit by the pitch putting two on the bases. The third batter for the Ambitions hit a single, driving in two runs and stealing on pass balls, positioned herself for a final run of the inning on another pass ball. The next batter was walked but stranded on base after Lauren struck out the next three batters in order.

In the second inning, Summer came to the plate swinging but grounded out to the short stop for the first out of the inning. Breanna was hit by a pitch, then Ellen and Danielle both walked loading the bases. The next Temple batter struck out for the second out bringing us back to the top of our order with Lauren Reaves who walked pushing Temple's game tying third run of the game across the plate. The next Temple batter struck out for the third out stranding three. Temple struggled in the second inning against the Ambitions striking out the first batter but then gave up a walk, an error and two hits, each resulting in a run putting the Crusaders down by four. The second out came as a result of a well hit ball to right field but the runner, trying to turn her hit into a homerun was tagged out at home because of good relays. The next batter fanned.

Because of a very short time limit, Temple went into the third inning having to score four to tie and stay in the game or go home. Maria led off the inning with a walk after working the pitcher to a full count and stole around the bases, eventually stealing home for Temple's fourth run fo the game. The next batter struck out. Abby was dealt four straight balls for another walk. Summer Carruth came to the plate ready to hit but after four straight balls pushed Abby around to make room for herself on the bases. The next batter struck out for the second out. Ellen found her way on teh bases as she was dealt four straight balls and loading the bases for the next batter to do something with but, to no avail, the next batter struck out, ending the game.
