School Benefits from Fundraising Efforts
The all-school fundraiser at Tennessee Temple Academy was a success this year as the school raised around $6,500 according to Rob Eldridge, Development Director. “The appreciation needs to go to Wimberly Taylor, Yvette Padfield, Gary and Angela Voigt who were the backbone of the fundraiser and the students and parents who participated. I just tried to stay out of their way.” The school chose to use the Abundant Funds Christian Collection which had a catalog of assorted Christmas cards, wrapping paper and Christmas gifts. It was the second time the school used this fundraiser with the last time being 4 years ago. This year’s group raised over $2,500 more dollars through the participation. “We learned several things this year which we feel will allow us to do even better next year. There is a Christian school in Kentucky with the same size enrollment as ours that consistently raise over $25,000 each year. If they can do it, then I know we can too,” commented Mr. Eldridge. A portion of the monies raised have been used to place ceramic tile in the elementary cafeteria.

The top individual sales winner in the Upper School received a Gateway Tablet Laptop computer, a $150 MP3 player and a $50 gift certificate to Best Buy.
