Tennessee Temple Academy excitedly announces that we have completed the process of transferring our accreditation from TACS (state accreditation) to ACSI (international accreditation) and SACS (regional accreditation) ACSI has sent to us the official framed certificate of accreditation and will present it publicly to Dr. Pearson at their regional Educators’ Conference in Birmingham, AL on February 2, 2007.
We now begin the process of documenting our compliance with the educational standards of each organization. After our submission of a related self-study in fall 2009, we will in the spring 2010 host on-site teams that will have the responsibility of verifying that we have met and documented those standards and that we are moving forward with continuous school improvement. We are thrilled that God opened the door for us to move so quickly in this direction. The ACSI and SACS accreditation provides credibility with the educational community that Tennessee Temple Academy has not known before and validates the academic excellence that we have produced as a school.
