There are benefits from being the best the Tennessee Temple Academy Varsity Football team found out recently as they were publicly recognized at the recent County Commission meeting for the schools first perfect 10-0 season. Commissioners Curtis Adams and Bill Hullander were instrumental in arranging for the football team to be honored. County Mayor Claude Ramsey declared by proclamation the special accomplishments that the team had achieved and gave each member a certificate of the proclamation and each of the coaches a clock. Dr. David Bouler gave the opening invocation. A surprise brunch was provided by Lee Epstein, owner of City Café following the ceremony. |
