I am originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, but grew up in the Indiana suburbs surrounding the Chicago, Illinois area for most of my childhood and teen years. Because of the amazing influence of some of my own teachers, the desire to become a teacher, for me, began when I was quite young. In August of 2005, I pursued this dream by enrolling at Tennessee Temple University with a major in Elementary Education. I recently graduated with my Bachelor of Science in that field. I am so very excited to be a part of Tennessee Temple Academy and the first grade class that I have this year.
