I am from Chattanooga and have lived most of my life here. I graduated from Toccoa Falls College in May 2009 with a degree in education. During my last semester of college, I completed my student teaching at a small Christian international school in Moscow, Russia. I am thankful for the wonderful experience of learning more about God’s world.

Most of my family lives near Chattanooga. My father is a critical care representative at a local hospital, and my mother is a library media specialist at a primary school. I have an older brother and sister. My brother and his wife have one daughter, and my sister and her husband have one son and one daughter. I also have a dog named Mitzi and a cat named Genevieve.

One of my favorite passages of the Bible is Lamentations 3:24-26. “‘The LORD is my portion,’ says my soul, ‘therefore I will hope in him.’ The LORD is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him. It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.”
