This is my first year teaching at Temple Academy. I am an alumnus of Temple Academy and Tennessee Temple University, and I have a love for this school. I graduated from TTU in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree, and this past spring I completed my master’s degree from Temple Baptist Seminary. Since my very first day of kindergarten I have wanted to teach, and I’m so thankful that God has given me the opportunity to serve Him through this avenue.

 I’m excited to see what the Lord has planned for this year. One of my favorite passages of Scripture is I Chronicles 28:9. David’s challenge to Solomon is also my prayer for my students and for myself. “And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind.”
